The Chappell Group, Inc. (TCG) is a certified WBE/CDBE/SBE firm that covers the specialized fields of wetlands delineation, marina and wetland permitting, marina design, wetland mitigation, and monitoring; threatened and endangered species surveys and habitat management plans; environmental impact assessments; Phase I environmental site assessments; benthic surveys; and all forms of environmental permitting and compliance for Federal, State, and local agencies. In this regard, TCG is unique because engineering, environmental, regulatory, scientific, and operational field expertise are available for multi-disciplinary projects.

 Sarah Chappell, President
Mrs. Chappell is a native Floridian from Fort Lauderdale and has over 7 years of experience in political campaigns and governmental relations. Ms. Chappell received a bachelors degree in Political Science from Florida State University and was government relations and development manager for many charities and non profits in Broward County. As President of The Chappell Group, Inc., Mrs. Chappell is the director of governmental relations and marketing for the company. Mrs. Chappell is an active community supporter board member of various non profits in Broward County. read more |

 Tyler Chappell, Vice President
Mr. Chappell is a second generation native Floridian from Fort Lauderdale and has over ten years of experience in the environmental consulting field. Mr. Chappell received a bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Texas Christian University and was Director of Environmental Services for eight years for a large engineering firm in Fort Lauderdale before forming The Chappell Group, Inc. in 2005. As Vice President of The Chappell Group, Inc., Mr. Chappell is the principal project manager for the company and oversees all company operations. Mr. Chappell is an active community supporter and serves on various service boards in the State of Florida and spends his limited free time playing golf and fishing in the Florida Keys.

 Matthew C. Mitchell, Senior Project Biologist
Mr. Mitchell is a native South Floridian and a true outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, diving and boating. Mr. Mitchell received a bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Florida State University and a Masters degree in Marine Biology from Nova Southeastern Univeristy. Mr. Mitchell strives to combine environmentally ethical practices with the goals of our clients in order to design and construct functional projects that provide for sustainable development while preserving the unique yet sensitive environment of South Florida. read more

 Patrick E. Murphy, Project Biologist
Mr. Murphy was born in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts and received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Mr. Murphy started his environmental career at Broward County Waste & Recycling Services before joining The Chappell Group, Inc. in 2008. Mr. Murphy is the lead project biologist for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and environmental due diligence for TCG. read more
