Senior Project Biologist
TCGcovers the specialized fields of wetlands delineation, marina and wetland permitting, marina design, wetland mitigation, and monitoring; threatened and endangered species surveys and habitat management plans; environmental impact assessments; Phase I environmental site assessments; benthic surveys; and all forms of environmental permitting and compliance for Federal, State, and local agencies. Applicants seeking this opportunity will be responsible for project management, meeting with clients to define scope of services and negotiate contract pricing, coordinating with regulatory agencies, preparing and reviewing technical documents, and business development. Occasional site reconnaissance and field surveys will be required. Salary is commensurate with level of relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements: B.S. in a environmental science (e.g., biology, environmental science, geology, etc.), M.S. or Ph.D. preferred. Required Skills: > minimum 5-8 years relevant experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer and quality oriented; experience with project management; and familiarity with Florida ecosystems. Desired Skills: >8-10 years relevant experience; experience with preparing environmental permit applications (FDEP, SFWMD, ACOE); experience with wetland and seagrass delineation, restoration, and mitigation; experience with threatened and endangered species surveys and management; experience with land management; experience with NEPA (EA, EIS); knowledge of Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code pertaining to environmental issues; familiarity with FDEP, FFWCC, and SFWMD protocols for sampling and analysis; experience working with regulatory agencies in Florida; familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; and Open Water SCUBA certification.
