Operations Waste-to-Energy Plants


The Chappell Group is the lead environmental consulting firm for the wetlands monitoring and supervisor of maintenance for six (6) wetland mitigation sites around Broward County as part of the Environmental Preservation Program for Broward County Solid Wate Operations Division.  These sites totaling 234 acres include Tree Tops Park, East Everglades Area, Ash Landfill site, Hacienda Flores, and the Broward Interim Contigency Landfill.  The Chappell Group, Inc. assists the Program with the contracting process in awarding maintenance contracts, performs quarterly site inspections, identifies the areas requiring continued maintenance, and makes recommendations on how to improve and continue the sustainability of all the mitigations sites.  The Chappell Group, Inc. will perform these tasks for Broward County through 2008.
