Chapel Trail

Chapel trail is a 1,880 acre PUD located at U.S. Highway 27 and Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines.  This project is primarily residential with industrial parcels.  The project consisted of roadway design, a master sewage pump station and sewage collection system, drainage and water distribution system.  The development parcels include single-family projects, light industrial projects, a shopping center and a City park. 

The Chappell Group, Inc. assisted CTA with the processing of the wetland permits with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Florida Water Management District and Broward County Environmental Protection Department (BCEPD) including the permitting and monitoring of the first wetland regeneration area approved by Broward County.  This involved the backfilling of excavated lakes with muck and then planting these areas with wetland species.
