The Chappell Group is the lead environmental consulting firm for the design, monitoring and maintenance for the Dania Distribution Center project.  The project is a 0.13 acre mangrove planter that was proposed as mitigation for the clearing of an existing shoreline for a commercial development.  The proposed mitigation included the restoration of 0.13 acres of mangrove habitat through the creation of a mangrove planter with associated rip-rap. 

The Chappell Group, Inc. performs quarterly site inspections, identifies the areas requiring maintenance, and makes recommendations on how to improve and continue the sustainability of the mitigation site. 

The Chappell Group, Inc. will perform these tasks for Dania Distribution Condominium Association, Inc. through 2010.
